Splash of Colour ♥

Summer has officially started!! which means one thing and one thing only, colour and lots of it!! I rarely wear colourful clothing so I express myself with my make-up most of the time, now we are in summer I have begun to express myself a little more than usual.

No matter what you are wearing you can add a pop of colour to your make-up. It can be anything from a bright winged liner instead of the normal black/brown eye liner, neon eye shadows, bright lips or cheeks.  It may seem to be daunting to add such a bright colour to your face but when it is done correctly it can look amazing.

I started off adding brightly coloured eye liners on my bottom waterline and smudging it out, it creates a lovely smoky effect and a pop of colour.

My current favourite waterline eye liners are;
GOSH velvet touch eye liner in Sky High*
GOSH velvet touch eye liner in Purple Stain*
MUA intense colour eye liner in Turquoise*
MUA intense glitter eye liner in Jade Jewel*
*can be found at superdrug

I have also been using my much loved Rimmel Scandal Eyes khol eye liner in Nude as a base and applying eye shadow on top.

Bright colours can be daunting but try creating a bright smoky eye, the jet black cut crease and false lashes make the colours pop.  Start off with a colour what compliments your eye colour/hair colour and when you are more comfortable you can add the rainbow.  When using bright colours be careful with reds and oranges they can bring out the redness and tiredness in your eyes, try using a nude or a black eye liner in the inner waterline to prevent this.

birthday make-up, tattoo and life update

It was my birthday on the 17th so I thought I would share my make-up, show you a few of my gifts and share with you all what I did to celebrate my 22nd birthday.

Recently I have fallen in love with purple eye liner on my lower waterline, its hard to see on this picture but in person it is a vibrant purple and it complements my eye and hair colour perfectly.  I will not go into depth on what make-up I used as I used alot of new products and full reviews on the products are coming soon.

As I am not a massive fan of birthdays, particularly this birthday I decided to do something I really wanted to do and getting yet another tattoo was a must for me.  I decided to get my first tattoo covered, I was 16 when I got my first tattoo and it was unsymmetrical and just terrible to be honest.  It needed to be covered with something pretty and I decided to go big or go home!

As you can see it is not finished, I had a totally of three hours in the first sitting and I need another two-three hours more for it to be complete but I'm extremely happy with it.

Before anyone asks me yes getting a tattoo isn't a pleasant feeling but every one has a different pain tolerance. I would describe the feeling as  a scratching, burning sensation and I was fine with handling that feeling for over three hours.

If anyone in Manchester or the surrounding areas wants details on the tattooist who did my beautiful new tattoo please message me and I will pass on the details.

Life Update!!!

Since I last posted I have changed my appearance a little, I now have a beautiful strawberry blonde wig! Don't worry I'm still ginger at heart ♥ I got yet another Friday the 13th tattoo of Boba Fett because I love Star Wars and I have been playing many new games on my Xbox One! I'm sure if you follow me on Twitter you will know all of this, FYI my Twitter is @CloeAnne_

Lots of new reviews are coming soon!
